August

August 2011 was chill! We didn't go crazy w/ trips, but did enjoy a fun becoming annual trip up to Idaho. We stopped for the afternoon at Lava Hot Springs and were crazy enough to all hop on a large raft and head down the famous river, but we only went in where it was mild! Blakely and Bryan did the wild part-- dare devils! We then headed up to Idaho Falls to stay with Karri and Aram and family. We had a fun bbq and then headed to Bear World the next day. My kids love it there. This crazy bear was seriously going to fall off this tree! We tried to go to the drive inn movie, but got there and the movie wasn't advertised right... to rough for the kiddos! We went to Lake Rigby, and our 2nd time now going to Big Judds! This is a fun trip w/ the kids! August also involved starting to enjoy the harvest of Rasmussen Farms! Bradford was eating a zuchini here! Katie was getting packed up and ready for her big adventure to West Virginia. We will miss her so much and hope she enjoys her big journey in grad school and teaching... Anyway fun times in August with the fam... and then it was back to school. The girls went back this year early... on August 22nd.
