Blessing Baya

Sunday Aug 3rd Bryan gave Baya her baby blessing. It was a really nice occasion. We had a huge gathering after at our house and it was really nice to see family and friends. Bea (baya) our friend from Hungary is here holding our Baya. She looked so pretty in her blessing dress and Bryan gave her a beautiful blessing. Some of the things he blessed her with were discernment between good and evil, a peaceful spirit, patience and love for her sisters and a faith in the gospel.

Camping w/ a baby???

We ventured to Albion Basin/Alta last week for some camping. It was very last minute, bordering on insane considering we have a newborn, but lots of fun. We went w/ our friends the Nelsons. It was so pretty. The wildflowers were in full bloom, as were the mosquitos. We hiked up to cecret lake w/ the kids. Bryan carried Baya in Sara's sling, and Abby on his shoulders for a lot of the hike. I was just proud of myself for making the trip!

torturing her older sister and Baya... well she makes for a good protestor to all the commosion.

BYU Hawaii--old timers

Wow... we are getting Old! 13 years ago I went to school @ BYUHawaii with some highschool girlfriends, Erin, Kristin & Holly. We met some great friends there and now, on very rare occasions, get together. Andi, our dear world traveling State Department lady, and the NY Jeppesons, were in town--so we had a little reunion of sorts. Wow, we sure have a lot of kids between us all... it was fun to watch the girls against the boys antics. Thanks all who came... we need to do it more often.

Such a Jewel

Baya is really so fun to have around. She has been Mello... as far as babies go. We are loving her and the girls are especially enamered by her and won't leave her alone, which is a mixed blessing!!! Here are some of our recent favorite pics. She is still a sleepy little thing... and we are getting used to this now. Our other two weren't quite so quiet!
