BAYA Turns 1

Happy Birthday to Baya!!! She loved her cake... and let us share her party with our dads on Father's Day. Baya is truly such a blessing in our life. She has us all wrapped around her finger and did I mention that she loves to eat?

Another dress story...

So my in-laws are so great about making traditions. We have the one dress of Baya pictured below that all the grand-kids have worn at around 9 months. Now we have this cute sailor dress for the grandkids to wear when they turn 6. Blakely is such a doll and Abby enjoyed posing with her too!

Amy's lost her mind... ragnar relay and tri

So, I decided at the first of the summer I wanted to do a few races and things before the next babe enters our lives. So, I've been thinking of trying a sprint tri and after some consideration, I talked my 2 sisters, Lindsee and Karri into doing the Pleasant Grove tri June 13th. It was fun... super hard on the swim, but fun. Then a few days later my good friend, Ang asked me if I'd fill in for someone on their wasatch back, ragnar team. I was scared... but decided to go for it. So, here are some pics from the race. We were an all women's team of 12 running the 188 miles from Logan to Park City. I was runner 1, and ran 3 different legs. My first leg was in Logan -5.1, second from Snowbasin to Weber canyon-8.5, and third was from Coalville to Kamas 4.8. This was all within a 24 hr. period with little sleep. Crazy what we do for fun!

Capital Reef Trip

We got invited by our good friends, the Smith's to stay w/ them in a cabin near Capital Reef. It was such a nice little trip. We went into the park for little day trips and spent a lot of time chilling at the cabin with the kids breaking rocks, running around and four-wheeling. They even hauled bikes down for us to do a little riding. We had great weather and a fun time... with our 6 little girls!!!

Last week of school fun....

The last week of school had lots of action! The Oakdale carnival had a climbing wall that Blakely and the Little's kept wanted to do. Blakely was in a cute play the kindergartner's put on and did a great job. She also finished up her spring soccer season that same time. She did such a great job this year in school and is way excited to be a big first grader!

St. George May 09

We had a few days to burn in May so we headed to St. George. It was a lot of fun... We tried out Sand Hollow Reservoir for the afternoon. What a pretty lake. Baya loved crawling through the water fountains near grandma's and swimming is always a must. We also took the girls hiking in the grueling 100 degree weather... what were we thinking? But, we always have a great time down south.
