Baya smiling, Abby candying

Baya is getting so smiley... it is fun. Abby is getting stickier and stickier by the day... can anyone help out here w/ ideas on how to deal w/ all this candy?

Halloween Festivities Cont.

We have been having some fun Halloween activities. We always visit the Rasmussen Pumpkin yard numerous times every season... Here is Grandpa Sonne running the show and making sure all is well w/ the pumpkin sales... We had our annual Hillcrest Halloween party (picture is blurry) and the kids had lots of fun. We are getting big! Also, the girls enjoyed a day at Wheeler Farm w/ the Scarecrows.

Four Wheeling American Fork Canyon

We have taken out four-wheelers a couple of times the last few weeks. It has been a new experience for us and we like it. It has been so pretty up American Fork Canyon w/ all of the leaves changing colors. We rode them up to Silver Lake which was so pretty. We are pretty new at this, so we are very mellow!

golden nugget pool!

So, we stayed at Bally's but had to get our kids over to the Golden Nugget's pool because it's so great. We had to sneak in... we didn't think it would be a big deal, but they asked for our room key... ahhh. So, we talked a nice guy from Amsterdam into coming in w/ us... (I'm nervy) Blakely is here w/ her dad... they are the real swimmers in this family. Look closely and you can see Bry going through the waterslide. Such a great pool! The weather was great!

Lake Mead w/ Rygg family

After the marathon, we headed south to Vegas and area. Bry had a work conference for a few days. We met up w/ our good friends the Ryggs for some skiing action. It was so perfect. The water was so warm and glassy. That is going to have to be a new post marathon tradition. Thanks guys! Neisha gave me some real competition out there on the ski... and Blakely was so brave wake surfing w/ Maury. They even have a video of it on facebook, I'll try and post.

St. George Marathon 08

Bryan completed his fifth marathon in a very wet style on October 4th in St. George. It rained for the entire race... this has only happened one other time in the 38 or so years the race has been running. He suffered a little, but we were very proud of him. He ran it in 4:33...which he wasn't too excited about, but we thought he did great. At mile 16 he handed me his sweatshirt and it weighed about 10 lbs. just drenched in water. I then gave him a poncho to wear. Yeah dad!!! We were grateful for support of Grandma Mary, Uncle Dan, and Lou Lou who came to watch. Also running was Kelly... for his 20th marathon.

Silver Lake Playgroup

We have a neighborhood playgroup and we decided to head to Silver Lake for the pretty leaves. It was a fun day for all and the colors were beautiful.

Witches

Bryan is a very cute dad. He gives me breaks every once in awhile and takes the girls on daddy-dates. This day he took the girls to the witches at Gardner Village. We love to go here every year and see the funny witches.

Pumpkin patch

Rasmussen Farms sell their pumpkins @ grandma Ramona's house. We went in our costumes for fun and finished up at Lou Lou's for a party...
