Family Pictures Oct 2011

We decided it was time to do a family picture. We had a boy in our family and wanted to show that off to everyone! Our neighbor Brent Lincoln did a great job and we just went up to the Temple Quary (little Cottonwood Canyon) and shot away. I really am being serious when I say I have cute kids! They are adorable. The bad thing is, when you are trying to put together outfits that you already have on a very tight schedule and do hair and get the kids ready, mom never gets any time or the much needed attention she needs. Plus, when you decide to do family pics only 6 weeks after baby is born, mom has a huge gut! O'well... live and learn.

Halloween Time 2011

October is always so much fun around here. We have the honor of being involved with the Rasmussen Farm's indirectly and my kids love it. They can go take a few hours "helping" sell pumpkins and just play among the thousands of pumpkins they have stacked at Grandpa Sonne's home. This year Blakely was an M &M, Abby was Sharpei, and Baya was a cute dalmation dog. We did the usuals like our annual HHS Halloween party with our growing group, pumpkin carving and songs at Grandma Mary's, school parades, field trips w/ the family pumpkins-- abby's class actually visited draper! And, of course trick-or-treating is always so much fun. Baya was really into it this year and show managed to push her way to the front of the pack at every door making sure she got her candy!

Life with 4 kids

Life is definitely more busy with 4 kids! As we got used to some of the changes, including Abby and Baya now sharing a room, the girls going back to school... Abby now starting kindergarten and Blakely a big 2nd grader, being up half the night, and recovering from a c-section-- we somehow rolled with the changes! Bradford kept mom busy with lots of photo shoots! We did a quick trip up the tram to Snowbird with Grandma Mary. We started getting into the Halloween spirit with some fun festivities. Took a ride up to Maddox for some good food with Jeff and Mary and the kids enjoyed a fun hay park.

They said we were crazy but we already knew that! The fam went to California while mom and Bradford hung out in the hospital for 4 or 5 days. It was nice! The only downside was that the flu hit everyone as they attempted Disney, the beach or the drive home... luckily mom and Bradford somehow lucked out! Bradford ended up being quite jaundice and after being home a day or two we had to order the bed of lights for 2 days while he was treated for that. In all, he did really well w/ it. The girls were so excited to get back home to see him and Grandma Lou Lou got her first glimpse of him after the long ride home w/ the kiddos. Bry had flown home a day or so earlier w/ Baya. The kid just couldn't get enough hugs and loves from his sisters!
