Fall 2010

Thanksgiving was truly a time to be thankful for all the new babies that had been brought to us in the last year. It was an amazing thing to watch these new spirits join our families this year. Early on in the year Anna Rose came, then with a very scary entrance, Ellie arrived 3 months early, the next day Cormac came with a boom. Bradford and Lucy arrived in September and October and we all sat down on Thanksgiving day with a prayer in our heart~

Other great events were taking place in the Fall of 2010. Abby had a small dance recital with the cute class she was taking w/ all her neighbor friends. BYU season was underway and Bradford was dressed to go to the games! Fall leaves were abundant especially in our yard. I think we filled over 21 bags. Blakely and Bryan had a piano recital and the girls entered reflections once again. It was a busy time for our family, but that is what makes it so much fun!

Bradford was blessed on the first Sunday in November. He was a good boy and didn't cry too much. We had a good group come and did a brunch at our home afterward. He was just so cute in his little white outfit that I got from my friend Christine. We took a family photo and it is one of the only ones we really have of all of us together. We were so happy to have him come to our family!

Halloween time 2010

Halloween is always so much fun around here. I think it has a lot to do with the farm and our involvement w/ the pumpkins and being able to take part in that a bit. But, for 2010 Blakely was an M and M, Abby was Sharpey, and Baya was doggy. We love it when our aunts and uncles join us for trick-r-treating. Also a fun thing happened this year as Abby's entire grade loaded up buses to Rasmussen Farms. All the kids got a small pumpkin and Grandma Mary gave her spill. The kids from Blakely's class also got to come to our house for a pumpkin demo and free pumpkin. This year was special because we could feel that our time was nearing an end w/ Grandpa Sonne so, moments spent with him were tender. He still was happy to be outside on the porch while the masses came to his home and bought pumpkins. He was always so proud of this part of his life.

We also did our annual trip to Gardner Village and the kids enjoyed gawking at the witches. Halloween is a fun time of year and we were glad to have Bradford here with us to enjoy it.
